ANSWERS :
1. Does using refilled cartridges void my printer warranty ?
According to HP, the use of refilled print cartridges does not effect the warranty unless failure or damage is attributable to it. Keep in mind that ink does not touch any part of printer or internal parts other then the cartridge and print head. The ink is applied to the paper as the paper is fed through the printer. Printer manufacturers will almost always advise you against refilling. The simple reason for this is that manufacturers would like you to buy their expensive replacement cartridges
2. Will I get same number of copies with refilled cartridges as an original cartridge ?
You will get atlest the same number of printed pages as you will get from an OEM inkjet cartridge. Customers report many more pages print per cartridge over their OEM inkjet cartridge. We fill inks to full capacity where as an original may not have as much ink. In that case , you can expect to get more prints.
3. How much money will I save by refilling?
Your savings may vary depending on your printer. As a rule of thumb, you can expect refills at AEPL to be up to 80% less than the cost of a new cartridge.
4. How many times can I get my cartridges refilled?
If used with care and precaution, you can get your Cartriges refilled upto 7 to 10 times. But it depends on the type of cartridge and whether the cartridge has been left standing without ink for a period of time (this will dry out the sponge and could block the print head) i.e. depends upon how well you take care of your cartridges
5. Can cartridge lying empty , be refilled ?
It depends on circumstances, in which cartridge was kept. If cartridge is kept in warm place, the ink inside the cartridge may dry out. Once the ink dries in print head, it becomes difficult to open it. So best thing is to make sure heads do not dry. If you take out cartridge, use a piece of sellotape to cover print head and keep cartridge in plastic bag to help prevent it drying out.
6. Does your ink differ from "universal ink"? If so, how?
Our ink is NOT "universal ink"! The ink products sold by AEPL are specially formulated for each brand and model of printer, to ensure print quality equal to or better than the original equipment cartridges. This is very necessary because the different printer manufacturers use differing technologies to print the page. Because of the different technology, the formulation of the ink varies from model to model and from manufacturer to manufacturer. It is impossible for any "universal" formulation to provide the same quality of printing as the original equipment cartridges.
7. What does OEM mean ?
OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer" which means a cartridge manufactured by the same company as the printer.
8. How much time does it take to refill my Cartridge?
If cartridge has no problem, i.e. blocked head, colour mixing or any such problem, it typically takes between 10 and 15 minutes, to refill inkjet cartridges.
9. How are we different from other refillers ?
At AEPL's Refilling Centres, we refill or recondition cartridges according to the best methods for each specific cartridge and printer. We do not just "drill and fill" a cartridge; our techniques have been developed through 15 years of research and experience, and we stand by our work. We use only premium parts, and our toners and inks are sourced from top suppliers. use High Quality Ink that has the same physical and chemical properties as the original manufacturer's inks. We are continuously researching ink suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that our product is currently with the latest technology. This ensures that the print quality is as good as the manufacturer's inks.
10. What is difference between Dye based and Pigmented Inks ?
Dye ink uses water-soluable dye and pigment ink uses water-insoluable particles to deliever color to the paper. Dye based printouts will become fazed by water stains, where pigment based printout would not be effected. Thus Pigmented inks are water proof and dye based not.
